All prices on this website are shown in £ sterling and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated but may exclude any delivery and credit card transaction charges. We reserve the right to change all advertised prices at any time. The price displayed on this website is the price you pay at the time we receive your order, except in the instance where an error has occurred with the price shown on the website. Please be aware that prices can go up and down on a daily basis. When placing an order, you are purchasing the item(s) at the price(s) shown at that time. Should a price subsequently change after your delivery is placed we are unable to adjust your order to the new price.
Accuracy of Product Information
All product information shown on the website is believed to be correct and accurate from the source material (i.e. manufacturer's documentation). This website is updated daily and we endeavour to keep pricing as up to date as possible However we regret that we cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions.
All products are subject to availability and may be changed at any time. We try to ensure stock information is correctly listed but occasionally errors may occur. If you would like to confirm stock on a particular product please contact us. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. If your order cannot be fulfilled, you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund by one of our members of staff. If an order is received for a discontinued product we will contact you to offer an alternative model of similar specification. Adjustments of price and availability will be confirmed at this point.
We deliver to certain postcodes in England and Wales. Please see our delivery page for exceptions and postcodes that we deliver to. Delivery is free for all orders over £150; however, we may charge a premium for next delivery (where possible) and the costs will be as displayed on our website. Upon delivery a signature will be required by an adult over the age of 18. We will contact you with an estimated delivery date. Occasionally delivery dates may be delayed by events outside our control (e.g. due to sudden stock shortages, manufacturing delays or delivery vehicle breakdowns), which is why we strongly advise all customers not to book fitters until they have received the relevant products, as no claims will be accepted. As soon as we are aware of any delay in your order we will contact you immediately and will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivering your products. If you find you cannot keep to the delivery date you must notify us one working day before delivery. We will only deliver to ground floor properties (unless a lift is available); this can include a maximum of 4 steps. Certain products may be delivered up or down a flight of stairs at additional cost. Call us to find out if the items you require can be delivered in this way. Whilst our own drivers are happy to wheel your product into an unobstructed room of your choice, we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred. It is your responsibility to protect any floor coverings to prevent damage while the products are being situated in the property. We do not allow customers under any circumstances to assist the driver with delivery or handling of any of our products. The products will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the products to the address given by you.
Failed delivery charges
Charges may be applied in the event that a delivery fails due to - but not limited to - any of the following reasons:
Your payment will be taken before the item is dispatched to you. (only applicable to non-finance & BNPL purchases). Payment can be made by most major credit cards (except American Express). We also accept any debit card & PayPal payment methods. We reserve the right to apply surcharges to payments made by credit cards to reflect the transaction charges levied by the respective credit card companies. We can also accept cheque payments. If you choose to pay by cheque then your order will only be processed once the cheque has been received and cleared. If the item is being ordered specifically for you from our supplier, payment will be taken before the item is ordered as a security measure. When payment has been taken, you will receive a personal confirmation email. Please keep checking your emails Just in case we need to contact you. We understand that sometimes problems occur between cards and the card issuers. if we experience any issue with your card, your order won't be dispatched until the issue has been rectified. We will either email or call you as necessary. We will email an order summary to you if you have given us an email address and bring a paper invoice and card payment receipt for you proof of purchase and guarantee. We will also supply any paperwork necessary for any finance products or extended warranties.
If requested we will collect old appliances for recycling on a like-for-like basis when we deliver your new item(s). We make a charge for this service to cover collection and transportation. Additional services which have been ordered but are then declined upon delivery are non-refundable, as we allocate space for these services on our delivery vehicles. This includes Old Product Collection & Unwrap and Remove Packaging.

Cancelling an order
If you wish to cancel your order please contact us ASAP on 01948 860480. If the order has not been processed we can cancel your order with immediate effect - however it is slightly more difficult if the item has already been dispatched. Where we have taken payment before dispatching the items and the order needs to be cancelled, a full refund will be provided. If you need to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will receive a refund for the product once we receive it back. Unfortunately any costs incurred in returning the products will not be refunded. You will not receive a refund for the item until we receive it back in the same condition as it left ourselves. This does not apply to faulty goods. As a retailer we reserve the right to refuse a refund on an item which has been returned in damaged packaging or has not been returned in a fully resalable condition. Alternatively we can deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Price match terms and conditions:
We endeavour to match any High Street RRP price that you may see in the United Kingdom. If you do find a price cheaper in the high street, please give us a ring on 01948 860480. This does not include internet prices or one off promotional offers available as they may not always include delivery and / or installation. Please ask in store for any further details.

Barlows Electrical are completely committed to your security and privacy whilst enjoying our online shopping system. We know that when you shop online, you want to know that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us is kept safe and secure, and we promise to do that. Your personal details and account history are stored but only so you can access these details via a password protection system. Our site uses the latest security, all personal data entered into the shopping cart is encrypted before it is sent from your computer over the Internet. You can tell when your browser is encrypted when you see a closed Padlock in the bottom of your browser screen.
Manufacturer Guarantees and Extended Warranties
All items carry a minimum 12 months parts and labour guarantee issued by the manufacturer which is subject to provisions that the appliance:
Any appliance which has a guarantee over 12 months must be registered within 28 days of receipt to qualify for any additional years’ cover. We offer extended warranties which cover parts and labour which can be purchased through this website or over the telephone. These are underwritten by Retra Care Warranties. Please refer to the extended warranty terms and conditions for further information.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute or claim arising in connection with these terms or the contract between us shall be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
Your Statutory Rights
None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer. We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions clauses wherever consumer statutory rights are not affected.
Summary of Charges
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receipt of the products, without giving a reason. You have the choice of returning the products via your own means (at your own cost to Barlows Electrical, High Street, Malpas, Cheshire, SY14 8NN), or requesting that we collect them. We will charge you the direct cost to us of collection per item. We may however choose to reduce the collection charge if you are purchasing another product from us. You have a duty of care while the products are in your possession and we reserve the right to charge you for any damage that may have occurred during this period.
We reserve the right to apply re-handling charges for returned items under some circumstances:
Any other handling of the products which has diminished the value of the products e.g. damage or wear and tear. If we refund you the price paid before we are able to inspect the products and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount. We will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible and within 14 days of the cancellation date.
Damaged and Faulty Goods
If you discover that the products which you have received are faulty, you should notify us immediately. You have the right to a full refund if a fault is discovered within 28 days of delivery. If you have an item that has gone faulty in the manufacturer’s warranty the consumer has a choice on how the fault is handled.
Please do not send a faulty item back to us without an authority number (or CSR) already being given as each individual manufacturer operates a different returns procedure which have to be adhered to. However if you have any problem with the item or are not happy with the outcome of a repair please don’t hesitate to contact us.
