Installation Guide
We offer a professional installation service on a wide range of appliances. Standard connections are carried out by our experienced delivery team, while specialist work — such as gas appliances — is handled by our sister company, Barlows UK Ltd, whose engineers are fully qualified and NICEIC approved.
About our service
Two tiers of installation
For most standard appliances — freestanding fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, and televisions — installation is carried out by our experienced delivery team at the time of delivery. They will connect your new appliance to existing supplies, level it in position, and test it before they leave.
For more specialist work — including gas hobs, gas cookers, and certain built-in appliances — we use our sister company, Barlows UK Ltd. Their engineers are fully qualified, NICEIC approved, and Gas Safe registered where required. This may be arranged as a separate visit and invoiced accordingly.
We offer installation across all the postcode areas we deliver to. You can check availability by entering your postcode at checkout. If your area isn't listed, please contact us — it may still be possible.
All installations are for like-for-like replacements only. We connect your new appliance to existing pipework and electrical supplies. We do not carry out new electrical circuits, new plumbing runs, or structural alterations.

Installation Services We Offer
Our installation service for electrical and gas products is handled by our own fully qualified engineers. This means that it’s not just someone who will ‘connect’ your new appliance. All our team are fully qualified in their field. Our electricians are NICEIC approved. Many of our engineers have been trained through the company by our accredited training centre. This means if an engineer encounters a small problem when connecting your new appliance he or she can handle the situation and get it resolved quickly instead of leaving you to find your own qualified installer to rectify the problem like our competitors sometimes do. The engineers do a full test to make sure your home is conforming to current regulations. This service means we will inform you of any problems or changes that are recommended to bring your home to a safe standard.
